There are so many moments you cherish with someone you love—memories you wish you could rewind… but you can’t.. 🥺

Our dad loved snacking so much—even though he never wanted to admit it 😄
He always said he was full… yet somehow still had room for just one more bite😬. He never came home empty-handed, always bringing back snacks and treats from the market—something new to try, something to share with all of us 🥰.

Some of his all-time favorites are now part of the Wajan & Pasar menus: martabak telor, lemper ayam, bakwan jagung, o-kue… and of course, all the kue treats ☺️.

For this 🩵Father’s Day, I made a special two-layer pudding with durian💛 (our favorite fruit—more on that next time) and pandan💚 (a timeless classic that just makes everything better), infused with coconut milk🥥 and set with agar-agar for that perfectly jiggly jelly texture 🍮.
