What inspired you to start skating? Honestly, what got me started was work lol. I got assigned to run the Pregnancy program for soldiers, which meant I was not doing regular fitness and needed something to supplement my lack of working out. Fell in love instantly. 
 
Has playing roller derby helped you connect with other Q***r folks in a positive way? Yes! Before I started roller derby I had trouble connecting with other q***r people outside of bars and clubs. And with teams like TRU and TRA, I’ve been able to meet other q***r folks that get it.
