This weekend Dad prepped and hauled a horse trailer all the way to Montana to check out a new horse that Gramps found for me. Dad, Mom & me drove out only to drive home empty handed because it just wasn’t the right fit. As I stood there crying realizing this horse wasn’t right, I felt shame for feeling like I wasted time & a ton of money. But Dad just smiled and said it was a beautiful drive and washed away any guilt or shame. Thanks for always supporting me as I chase whatever I’m after even if it means driving 24 hours over a 42 hour period empty handed just to give me the opportunity for finding happiness 💛🐴🫣Happy Father’s Day to the fathers, grandpas, uncles and all others who willingly stand in as outstanding father figures 💛🌈☀️

Spent the day working on this jacket. The outside is a medium weight Pendleton wool I picked up at Pendleton Woolen Mill Store and the inside is this adorable Japanese sewing kitty pattern I found at Bolt Fabric Boutique. I still am waiting to find the perfect buttons. I have big brown buttons that would remind you of a spool of yarn but I’ll have to be patient until the right ones find me. This is heavy and going to be so sweet come Autumn. Not on a 82 degree day in June ☀️🥵🌈
