For two weeks each spring, Upper School students trade the classroom for the backcountry through Applied Leadership in the Outdoors—one of Catlin Gabel’s many Upper School “Immersives.”🌲

“We’re using the outdoors as our classroom, and technical skills as a vehicle to teach the core values of the school,” says Director of Outdoor Education Lindsay Babbitt.
