Milagro is excited to announce the 2026-2027 cohort of grant recipients from the Milagro Artist Fund.
For our 2026-2027 Season43: Pasando el Testigo, a total of $16,000 has been awarded—the largest sum yet—with 15 individuals or groups each receiving project grants ranging from $500 to $2,000. Over the Milagro Artist Fund’s 5-year history, a total of $70,000 has now been granted to artists from Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Each 2026-2027 recipient will utilize their grant funds toward a project to occur between July 2026 and June 2027. Project details–including dates, times, and public availability–will be announced at a later date. During our just-completed Season42: Fuerza en Familia, projects supported by the Milagro Artist Fund included a wide range of events as part of Milagro’s Community Artes programming, including many salon-style experiences as part of the tertulia art+conversation series, as well as the March celebration of Women’s History Month, Mundo de las Mujeres, which included staged readings of two plays, a stand-up comedy show, and visual arts gallery.
