Come work for White Spider Rental Concierge and independently contract yourself to clean our newest property right on the river! Our company is based in Portland and we prefer to call our cleaners stagers. As a stager you will put the shine on every detail for our guests creating a “better than a hotel experience” while beautifully setting the design at this gorgeous property we manage. Communications with the team via email are an important part of the job.

Our stagers are asked to be timely in reports and responses throughout their shift and beyond. They are required to have a vehicle of their own, a smart phone, and a general understanding of apps and website navigation. We also require our stagers to have their own vacuum, mop, broom, and cleaning supplies. White Spider is busiest in the summertime and weekly Thursday through Monday. Pay for each shift is a flat rate decided by the size and amenities within each home and generally averages about $20-$30 per hour for up to 5 hours. The block of time for these shifts coincide with check in and check out times which range from 11am- 5pm.

Our homes are all impeccably designed and generally lightly used. Any deep cleans will have a higher pay and more time allotted for the work as will any excessively used homes (ie: a party). Paid training is $15.00 per hour for at least two days. White Spider offers a higher payout than many of its competitors for a few reasons. Along with having an eye for detail and design we ask that our stagers keep a few tools handy to help fix small maintenance issues, where they are comfortable and capable, if time allows during their shift. Examples of these tasks include rehanging a picture, tightening a toilet seat or chair leg, or fixing door hinge screws where they may have become loose. Nothing major.

They are required to have a vehicle of their own, a smart phone, and a general understanding of apps and website navigation. We also require our stagers to have their own vacuum, mop, broom, cleaning supplies, and to carry and be responsible for a small amount of inventory supplied by the company for stocking the home’s inventory to our standards.

White Spider is busiest in the summertime and weekly Thursday through Monday. Pay for each shift is a flat rate decided by the size and amenities within each home and generally averages about $20-$30 per hour for up to 5 hours. The block of time for these shifts coincide with check in and check out times which range from 11am- 5pm. Our homes are all impeccably designed and generally lightly used. After you and one or both of our staging managers meet for a quick 45 minute unpaid meeting at one of our fully staged homes, we will work around your schedule and guest bookings to schedule your two training shifts.
