For those of you who have visited the lounge lately, you may have had the honor of meeting our two newest gals, Bubbles and Blossom.

This bonded pair of floofs are available for adoption, and they are looking for a very special person and home to call their own.

While Blossom, our fluffy tuxedo, is very affectionate and trusting, Bubbles, her all black counterpart, is still very fearful of humans.

Blossom loves to be pet, played with and brushed daily. She is always happy to see us and will loudly purr when we arrive in the morning while waiting for her breakfast and pets. She is playful and loves wand toys, attacking with her feathery paws and stopping for a good head scratch if offered. She is curious and likes when the other cats visit her at her kennel, though will give boundaries when she’s out exploring the room.

Where Blossom leans in and purrs when given attention and pets, Bubbles shys away and/or hisses. During her stay with us, Bubbles has been making incredible progress. She no longer (or very rarely) hisses at us anymore. She eats her food with us nearby, plays with toys if engaged, and will even accept a treat off your hand when she’s feeling brave. She will rub on a wand toy and get “elevator bum” if used to pet her. It’s clear this sweet girl desires the feel good pets but is too scared to allow it from a human just yet.

We believe that with the right home, Bubbles could learn to trust her person/people with time, love and patience. She currently has been observing the other lounge cats have positive and enjoyable interactions with guests from the safety of her kennel. Blossom and Bubbles love each other very much and need to find a home together. If you think you are the right person for these two amazing kitties, come meet them! They are worth it. 🫧🌸
