The month of March was declared “Social Work Month” in 1984 by the White House.
Each year in March, Social Work Month is celebrated with an official theme to shed spotlight on the Social Work profession and highlight the work that social workers do. This March, the theme is to “Elevate Social Work,” and the SSW will celebrate by amplifying the contributions our students, alumni, faculty and staff members are making in this world.

Hey everyone! We are hosting a DACA student panel in collaboration with Dream PSU next week. It is a great opportunity to learn about what DACA is and the experiences of DACA students on campus. Food will be provided and we hope to see many of y’all there!
