Over the past three months, the first of our 2026/2027 Artists in Residence have left their marks here. 

In Palm Springs, artist and muralist Stevie Shao decked out the Commune wall with her geometric designs inspired by our relationship to animals and the environment, and evocative of the mysticism of the natural world.

Photographer Guarionex Rodriguez, Jr. checked into Ace Hotel Brooklyn and, alongside his DJ sets, delivered “Planets In Transit,” a photographic series tracing the sweat, intimacy and liberatory movement that pulses across New York’s dance floors.

We saw Ace Hotel Kyoto through the POV of photographer SATOKO IMAZU and her show “Echoes,” which documents the delicate poetic undercurrent of daily life.

And Down Under, at Ace Hotel Sydney, artist and fashion designer Jordan Gogos transformed fabric remnants into layered worlds of color, texture and memory, stitching, folding, drawing and assembling on-site throughout his residency.
