This Pride Month, we're reflecting on something our team has spent the past year working toward: becoming better healthcare providers for all our members.

Our clinicians recently completed a LGBTQ+ health education program focused on providing more informed, inclusive, and compassionate care. Along the way, we deepened our understanding of topics ranging from preventive screenings and hormone therapy to gender-affirming care and the unique healthcare experiences many LGBTQ+ individuals face.

The goal wasn't simply to complete a training. It was to become better listeners, better partners, and better healthcare providers.

As more members of the LGBTQ+ community choose Trellis for their care, we're reminded that trust is earned. Creating a welcoming and affirming healthcare experience is ongoing work – work we're committed to every day.
