Hey friends,

Facebook is being difficult and won't let me easily change the focus of this page.
🫤
Instead, I'm starting a new page for Ursa Major Tutoring. Mom2MomEd will still exist, but my new page is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556899911588
(I don't qualify for a custom, named URL yet.)
I'm working on rebranding and refocusing! Mom2MomEd is going to still exist as a blog and this page, but overall, I'm shifting to a tutoring focus.
This includes a new name: Ursa Major Tutoring on both Instagram and Facebook.
📝
My goal is to support students and their parents or other responsible adults in a student's life.
📝
I will also be offering tutoring training, starting with a self paced course on how to become a private tutor.
If you're a new grad, looking for a mid-career change, or maybe a retiree looking to switch to or start private tutoring, this course will be for you!
Be sure to hit FOLLOW to get updates! DM me if you'd like more info!
📝
I'm currently accepting the following students in my private tutoring practice:
➡️ Reading students -- we will practice reading skills together with a focus on helping older struggling readers who don't have diagnosed learning challenges but struggle nonetheless.
➡️ College application essay reviews -- you have a draft of your essay and I help you focus and find tune it.
➡️ Resumes -- your draft is outdated, too wordy, or too long. I'll help you pull it together!
📝
Does any of the above sound like something you need? Send me a DM! I'd love to chat about your needs!

Photos from Mom2MomEd's post 05/13/2023

I started a new temp job this week -- on top of running two Etsy shops, multiple blogs, and tutoring -- and my house has fallen apart.
🏠
I will get into a routine, eventually, but I also know that I'll be using the weekends to reset things.
🏠
While making dinner -- pot pie (see a few posts back for my meal plan) -- I decided to start on the kitchen, but it's so messy (partially from making dinner tonight), that it feels overwhelming.
🏠
I'm taking a page from my friend and turning my kitchen into zones.
🏠
I need an easy win, so I cleaned up the simplest, least messy section first. Swipe ⬅️ to see the before and then swipe ⬅️ again to see the after.
🏠
Do you break rooms down into smaller zones? How do you go about getting easy wins in your housekeeping?
