An update on Sara Jane. She is inside her own custom Bow-Roof Shed in Bowdoinham, Maine this winter (2023-2024) after a successful second season of sail training under Captain Anna Maria Hansen. Sixty high school students spent a week each aboard engaging in sail training and living on board. Meanwhile, she is being lovingly maintained by master shipwright David Stimson, rigger José M. Hernández-Juviel and Sailing Ships Maine volunteers. She sails out of Freeport, Maine.
