Today I will start a little experiment. I will try to do Moxabustion treatment everyday and monitor my Heart Rate Variability (HRV) for the next 30 days to see if it makes an impact on the the overall average of my recovery and HRV in general.

It is great for folks who are too sensitive for needles and works wonders for a variety of different issues. The main ones that I have seen the greatest influence is digestion, stress and anxiety.

posted a couple weeks back about something he noticed when tracking recovery.

Electrolyte intake seemed to have a response on how recovery was gained or lost on the following day.

As it so happened, at the same time I kept forgetting my in my office so did not have any on hand prior to bjj and before bed that week.

That week was one of my lowest recovery weeks in a while. If you track recovery this may be something to keep an eye on.

When doing my test with every morning I  have now started to annotate it along with my workouts and other notes.

Do you track recovery, have you noticed any fluctuations on days when you sweat more or don't rehydrate.

After a meniscus injury in 2019. I had to take multiple months off. Slowly rehabbing my knees , I am still not 100% but over the last year I was able to the thing that been a big part of my life.

Today for the first time since covid, SBG headquarters had their first Ironman. It was a big one. The Ironman is a promotion ceremony where those who are being promoted roll with everyone in the gym.

I was given my Purple Belt tonight.

Thanks to all the coaches and tribe members who have helped along the way.

Back to the grind tomorrow.
