Since most of us can't travel at the moment, I continue with posts from our 2018 docuseries, where we filmed all over the Spanish-speaking world for McGraw-Hill.

Let's do a little "virtual traveling" to Santiago, Chile, shall we?

What's interesting to me in this video is their concept of closing off streets on Sundays and allowing folks to run, cycle, rollerblade, and do all manner of exercising. It's a great idea that's apparently been done in other cities too.

I wonder how much this sort of thing will become part of our reality, in a post-pandemic future. Will COVID-19 teach us the importance of coming out more often into the open, reconnecting with nature, and caring more about our fitness and well-being?

I can see this being a positive outcome of this current virus situation. Granted we might have to observe social distancing rules and other safety practices for some time, but this could a great way to combat (and become a key part of) the "new normal."
