My heart has been extremely heavy in response to this week’s Atlanta shootings and the increase of hate crimes against Asians this year. As a Taiwanese American, I have struggled to articulate my own thoughts and have been flooded with memories of my own experiences of micro-aggressions, misogyny, and racism. This week has amplified the violent convergence of the fetishization and hyper sexualization of women, anti-Asian sentiments, and white supremacy. On behalf of Alrescha, Amelia and I have compiled a non-exhaustive list of resources and organizations to help support the AAPI community. With so many lists circulating, there are so many ways to support. We encourage you to engage, learn, and grow. Sending our love and please check in with your loved ones! Stay safe 💛
