LoterĂa XII is now open!
This is my last remaining painting from Cactus Gallery's annual show! (Thank you SO MUCH to the collectors who swiped up the other ones, even before the show opening!! Truly, it means a LOT. đ)

La LoterĂa is a traditional Mexican game of chance, similar to bingo, that uses images on a deck of cards instead of plain numbers. There are 54 images in the original deck plus an additional 54 cards in a second deck, and each has a name and an assigned number.
The most recognized version of La LoterĂa is the âDon Clemente Galloâ rendition, and Cactus Gallery hosts an annual LoterĂa show where artists reinterpret the art from that classic deck.
