As we approach our 10th Anniversary, we wanted to share a special message from one of our long-time participants, Teresa Tam.

Teresa is returning to this June for her fourth edition of Tango for Musicians. Her journey reflects exactly why we do what we do: to create a space where world-class learning meets a deep sense of belonging.

From studying with our faculty from Argentina to the lifelong friendships made on campus, the TFM experience is about more than just notes—it’s about the community we build together.

Joining us at Reed College for the first time this June, Pedro Rossi will be leading dedicated classes on the roots and styles of Argentine folk music. This is an invitation to not only study the tradition but to explore the creative space where improvisation lives within these rhythms.
Connecting musicians with these living traditions is exactly why we are celebrating ten years of TFM.
