In 2024, I closed Beverly & Terison, LLC to join the U.S. Department of Justice as an Immigration Judge — an experience that deepened my understanding of both the immigration system and the human stories behind every case.

However, due to the direction of the current administration’s policies and my refusal to compromise my values by following directives that I believed undermined due process, I made the difficult decision to step down from the bench.

I remain deeply committed to serving immigrant communities, and I’m excited to share that I’ve since co-founded Haven Immigration Law LLC where we continue the same mission — providing compassionate, high-quality legal representation to immigrants and their families.
