It was a pleasure to welcome back Ryan Aiello and the rest of ILL LUCID ONSET to The Portland Playlist at Portland Radio Project. Joining me, Veronica Bisesti, and Ryan in the studio were band mates, Giancarlo Herrera and Jim Beriault. We listened to a few of their influences and then recorded tracks off their "You Say," "Live at Mississippi Studio," and "Trixie Studio Sessions" albums. We had a great time with ILL LUCID ONSET on tonight's, The Portland Playlist at Portland Radio Project. We listened to a few of their influences, and recorded tracks from the albums in the photograph below. You can enter to win one of those albums by texting, "ILO" to 27299.

They're working on creating new music so won't be playing a show until summer but stay tuned for news on that.

The Portland Playlist is excited to welcome back ILL LUCID ONSET to Portland Radio Project, Wednesday, February 22nd, 7-8 p.m. Joining us in the the studio will be Ryan Aiello, Jim Beriault, and Giancarlo Herrera. Singer-Songwriter Ryan, started Ill Lucid Onset to bring a fresh Modern Rock vibe to the Northwest music scene. His lyrics and driving vocals have built a solid fan base and social media following that numbers over 30,000. They have been working on a new project, "Trixie Studio Sessions," and will tell us all about it. We'll also listen to a few of their music influences, and they'll perform live.

Due to snow, The Portland Playlist had to reschedule our with Maurice and the Stiff Sisters. In order to that, we will have two shows this week, Mexican Gunfight on Wednesday, and Maurice and the Stiff Sisters on Thursday, February 9th, 7-8 p.m.

"Filtered through the rose-tinted glasses of psychedelia and power pop," their music "weaves daring horn lines through full-bore guitar rockers and tongue-in-cheek tropical sambas." The band's first single, "Unlucky in Love" was premiered last summer by Vortex Music Magazine.
