BEU collection debuted yesterday!!! I wish I had all the folks handles to thank them for all the hard work. Y’all wore fall garments in 85 degree weather and made it look easy. thank you for your incredible production work, I’d never seen My sis go to werq like that an it was glorious! Thank you for always showing up, doing so much behind the scenes last minute sewing and packing up, being a second set of eyes. Thank you for bein’ my go to model from here on out. You are one of a kind. Thank you for bringin that energy and coordination. And for sharing your baby gurl with all of us. I love having kids around to see what is possible. And bein a mom is HARD WORK! To watch you do both brought me so much joy. Thank you for assisting and styling so much of the show. Thank you for the opportunity to showcase at such a prestigious venue. Thank you for helping get me this far, for working markets and sewing an so much support when I didn’t think I could get it all done.

The rawness and vision of this collection is about hand crafted community built work. It’s not polished, it’s not perfect, It’s raw, it’s real, it’s wearable art, it’s story and love, and it’s touched by generations of creatives. It has the literal ashes of our ancestors inside of it. Dirt from one of the only Amazonian tribes not to be colonized, and it is love. It is Mother Earth.

Thank you for blessing the vibe with yours. You being there was such a humbling moment and so incredibly special.

A designer is nothing without their community. We are only as strong as our community. And the one I get to roll with are some of the dopest.

I don’t have this entrepreneurial thing all figured out yet. But im getting to wake up everyday and create for a living. I cant believe it somedays. It’s an honor and a privilege that I’ll never take for granted. Thank you for believing in me. And supporting this kind of creative endeavor. More to come. Bless
