Hi I’m Rachel 👋 If you’re new here, I’m glad my work peaked your interest. A little about me 👇

•I love wine, cooking, caffeinating, reading (mostly mystery/thrillers and romantasy genres), travel and have been slowly teaching myself to play the piano
•I send my friends and my husband too many funny memes and am partial to a good “dad joke”
•I’ve been a portrait photographer since 2019
•I picked up a camera in high school, after bawling my eyes out in the VPs office begging him to switch me out of AP Statistics, and the photography class was the only option for my schedule (some things are just meant to be)
•I got married last year in an elopement style wedding in Italy’s wine country 🍷🍇 that’s when I realized the magic of an elopement style wedding and fell in love with them

My philosophy for photography is to capture images that look and feel like your true and genuine self. No one wants to look at images and see how awkward they may have felt, and I’m a master at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera.

When you look at your images you want to see your personality or unique relationship shine through. That’s what my art is really about. I like a mix of documentary and posed editorial to create a fun and natural experience with details specifically customized to you.

About Me Photographer Edition 👇

1- If I had to choose only 1 session type to photograph forever it would be maternity 🤰💕

2- I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV 📸

3- I got into photography by chance, transferring into a photography class my senior year of high school. That’s when I fell in love with it and started with nature and still life photography.

4- I mainly photograph clients in OR & WA from the Eugene area, up to Seattle, the coast and out to Mt Hood, but I do travel so far including AZ & the Midwest ✈️

5- My favorite lens rn is the 24-70/2.8 and my 35mm/1.4 is a close second.
