âď¸ The Social Tea hit my inbox this morning and here are a few updates that caught my attention this week:
First up⌠Instants.
And honestly? Iâm kind of with the internet on this one đ
I left Snapchat over a year ago and never got on the BeReal train, so Instagram adding another âin the momentâ feature wasnât exactly exciting news for me.
For creators, I can actually see the value. Audiences want authenticity more than ever right now.
For brands though? Not every new feature needs to become part of the strategy đ
Between Reels, Stories, trends, DMs, and community management, brands already have a LOT to keep up with.
Also keeping an eye on:
⨠Metaâs new report on the evolution of social media
âď¸ TikTok Go, which lets users discover and book hotels + experiences directly in app
Honestly, TikTok becoming a travel search engine feels very on brand because itâs one of the first places I go for trip research now đ
Social media platforms are becoming discovery platforms fast, and the brands paying attention early are going to win big.
What update are you most interested in right now?
Let me point you in the right direction. đ
Social media management is a lot more than just posting â here's what's actually included when you work with me:
đ Strategy â I dive deep into your brand, your industry, your goals and your ideal audience to build a plan that actually reaches the right people.
𤳠Content â Whether it's capturing content, collaborating with creators, or designing graphics, I handle it all for you.
đŠđť Platform Management â The posting, the community, the profile. I keep it tidy and working smoothly in the background so you don't have to think about it.
And that's not even counting:
â Reporting
â Video prompts, shot lists & editing
â Content ideation
â Ongoing support

Most people think social media marketing is about posting more.
Itâs not.
Itâs about knowing what to say, who youâre saying it to, and being clear enough that people actually get it.
Because every post is either:
Building clarity
Or creating confusion
The brands that grow arenât louder⌠theyâre clearer.
After 7 years doing this, the biggest shift in my work has been this:
Less âwhat should we post?â
More âwhat do we want to be known for?â
Once thatâs clear, everything else gets easier.
If your content feels inconsistent or like itâs not converting, itâs usually not a content problem. Itâs a strategy problem.
If youâre working through that right now, my inbox is always open.
Thereâs nothing I love more than hearing,
âWait⌠you manage their page, right? I love their content.â
Followed byâ
âHave they really grown? Do you think you could help me do the same?â
The answer is yes. But itâs never just the content.
Itâs the strategy behind it.
The messaging.
The consistency.
The understanding of what actually connects with an audience and turns into growth.
I tend to let the work speak for itself.
If you know me, you know Iâm usually the one behind the scenes, hyping up my clients, celebrating their wins, and helping them show up in a way that feels clear, confident, and aligned with their brand.
Thatâs what I bring to the table.
Not just contentâbut thoughtful social media strategy, brand clarity, and real, sustainable growth.
If youâve been wondering what it would look like to have that kind of support behind your brand, my DMs are always open
âWhat do you do for a living?â
I get this question a lot.
The simple answer is I help small businesses turn social media into a real growth tool.
That means helping businesses:
⢠show up consistently online
⢠clarify their brand messaging
⢠grow the right audience
⢠and turn their content into something that actually supports their business
Because social media today isnât just about posting content.
Itâs about strategy, storytelling, and building a community that trusts your brand.
If youâre a small business owner trying to figure out what to post, how to grow, or how to turn social media into something that actually works for your business, youâre in the right place.
Follow along for insights on social media strategy, content marketing, and building your brand online.
And if youâre ready for a more structured approach to your social media, my DMs are always open.
Going viral is not a strategy.
Itâs a spike.
Yes, viral content can boost views and engagement. But if your entire social media marketing plan is built around chasing trends, youâre building on borrowed momentum.
And borrowed momentum fades.
The real flex?
Consistent growth.
Clear brand messaging.
Steady engagement.
Community that converts.
Sustainable social media strategy will always outperform a viral moment.
If youâre a business owner trying to grow on Instagram without burning out chasing trends, start thinking long-term brand building instead of short-term attention.

đ¨ Social Media Updates You Should Actually Care About
A few platform updates are quietly changing how brands grow online â and these ones matter.
Instagram
Instagram is testing the ability to reorder carousel posts after theyâre published (finally).
Theyâve also rolled out clickable links in Reels â but not in captions. You can now link to a past Reel or profile when creating inside Edits.
TikTok
TikTok is testing a locals feed, showing curated content based on a userâs selected region or town. Users will be able to adjust their location manually.
Huge win for small businesses, creators, and local discovery.
Spotify
Spotify is leaning more social with group chats, allowing users to share podcasts and playlists with up to 10 friends.
