There are currently two active wildfires near the Campbell County borders. Wyoming

The first is the Raven Creek Fire, which has burned portions of Crook, Campbell, and Weston counties. The fire is estimated at approximately 4,503 acres. Fire resources from all three counties worked throughout the night to establish containment lines and suppress the fire.

The second is the Meadow Draw Fire, located in Sheridan County on BLM land near the Campbell County border. The fire is estimated at approximately 100 acres. Crews also worked late into the night on suppression and containment efforts.

We are anticipating warm temperatures, strong winds, and the potential for thunderstorms this afternoon, which may lead to another active fire day across the region.

Important updates for Campbell County will continue to be posted here on our page. At this time, there are no active evacuation notices associated with either fire. Crews are working diligently to suppress the current fires as quickly as possible while also preparing for any potential new fire starts. 📸 watch duty
