Even barn cats should be vaccinated against Rabies.
Idaho diagnoses about 10 to 15 Rabies infected bats per year, and the estimate is about 1 in 100 bats are carrying Rabies at any given time. If your kitty has any chance of encountering a bat, it should be vaccinated. At Aspen Veterinary Service the cost for a Rabies vaccine is only $30.

Big dog vs little dog.....
It doesn't matter who started it, the little dog always seems to pay the price. If your small dog is bitten by a larger dog, even if the wound seems minor, have it examined by a veterinarian right away. Internal injuries can occur and signs can be subtle.
