Cupping has been around for thousands of years, but what does it do?? 🤔 ⬇️

Traditional massage techniques push down into the tissue to compress it, where cupping creates a negative pressure and pulls up on muscle tissue and fascia. This decompression allows for reduction in muscle guarding and allows stiff muscles to relax more effectively.
It can also be very beneficial in restoring short-term range of motion and breaking up scar tissue.
The vacuum pressure also dilates local blood vessels to help drive oxygen and nutrients to rhe tissues to accelerate cellular repair.
