Let's celebrate Urban Ag Week! Whether you are growing food in Pottstown in planters on a deck, in a community or home garden, or in a pot on a windowsill, you're an urban gardener, and PAFC celebrates you today, along with all the organizations in and around Pottstown who are working together to build a thriving and equitable food system.

Hearts Of Humanity Community Development Corporation is looking for volunteers to help in their Pottstown gardens. Contact them for more information on this great way to give back to the Pottstown community.

PAFC members Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health and Althouse Arboretum have teamed up to provide fresh produce locally grown by students on a one acre farm.

The Agricultural Learning Center at Lundale Farms will be open to visitors this Wednesday! 🌱

Drop in for a tour of our grounds and see how we promote, execute, and advocate for urban, sustainable farming. Staff will be on hand to guide you around the 1-acre farm and explain the various methods and systems we employ to grow produce for our community partners. If you've got the itch and want to get hands-on with our work, you're also welcome to volunteer with us for any amount of time during the event!

Buy from local farmers and vendors at the tomorrow, Saturday July 11, 9 am to 12 noon. The market takes place at the Smith Family Plaza.

Note that the FARM takes EBT cards as well as FMNP and Senior FMNP checks...and adds $5 extra for each $10 you spend. Details at the information table.

🚗🥕 Help us deliver nutritious food to homebound seniors this July! We’re looking for volunteers who are comfortable working outdoors and loading 30-pound boxes of food into vehicles for delivery to older adults with mobility limitations.
