I remember the first time I learned what an in ear monitor rig actually was. As soon as I understood what it could do, I knew I wanted one. Once I started planning what I actually wanted in it, though, it became clear this wasn’t going to be cheap. Some pieces in this rig were on my list from day one. It didn’t start out that way, but eventually I stopped compromising and decided to stick to this quote “I’m gonna get the good sh*t.”

After countless trials, errors, and more than a few rough shows, plus a ton of research and conversations with friends in the industry, I finally put it together the way it should be.

Along the way, that experience turned into helping other bands build their own IEM rigs as well.

It wasn’t easy, and it definitely wasn’t cheap, no matter how many videos made it look simple. There were plenty of moments where I wanted to give up entirely, but something kept pushing me to keep building.

This system will always evolve, but for what I need right now, it’s done.
