Spook Fest,

You were rough to us, probably the roughest weekend this season for sure. First things first, I have to thank Scott Murphy for giving me a chance in the 45 champ this weekend. We didn’t get the result we wanted after wrecking in the heat, but made strides in the setup in the time I had! Congrats to Lucas Fitzgerald on getting the kart back together to run the feature!
For the 5ct flat kart, the day was a little better, but still not good results. After missing the setup a couple weekends in a row, we got the kart back on the scales and with the help of John Mulqueen got this thing fast again. We were decently fast all day and we’re right on pace w Shane Jablonka and Lucas. By the time features came around, we fired off fast but after trying to make a move on the 44 for the lead, the kart just didn’t have the same speed and we fell back.
It’s frustrating to look back at what was shaping up to be a “big weekend”, turned into a bit of a set back. No quit in this team though, we move on to Novemberfest this coming weekend and try to dial in the flat kart to bring home the money!

A special thanks to Sal DeRosalia for letting me “crash test” his custom moto psycho fire suit! Also another thanks for all of the photos and support!!

I gotta thank everyone that comes to support and believes in me, it’s time to prove this was a fluke! Massive thank you to Rodgers Metalworks for coming along this season, you rock!! Big thank you to Sam Dwy for the oil, help, and friendship this entire season! Abby Fowler for the endless support whenever I need it! And anyone else I might have forgot to name!!

A late post, but as we get ready for Night Race #4 at Poughkeepsie Speedway we also wanted to recap on race #3! We had a solid kart all day starting with first practice off the trailer. On old tires Keenan got back into the groove and got comfy with the kart in the first sessions. After swapping to fresh rubber and making some minor adjustments the kart picked up a lot of speed and we finished second in the heat race. It was looking like it was going to be a fun night when it came to feature time!
Right before it was time to race we were setting tire pressures and realized the LR tire wasn’t holding air. After scrambling for a fix, as always Sam Dwy saved the day and let us borrow a LR last minute.
While sitting on grid for the feature we go to fire the kart up with no luck. After scrambling again Keenan found that the throttle linkage had came apart on the grid and quickly bolted it back together just in time to roll off for the feature.
After a really great battle with Dylan Vail we ended up finishing second. We got to lead a good amount of laps and had such a great time at the track!

We want to thank Sam Dwy firstly for all of his help on and off the track to get the kart this fast. Rodgers Metalworks for being a great sponsor and being a pleasure to work with. Scott Murphy for supplying a Gear for the past two weeks 😂! Abby Fowler for being the best pit crew around. And everybody else who has helped at the track or supported off the track!
