Ah yes... The electric guitar IS indeed a beautiful thing!

Working on a new song called "Spinning Worlds"....I often get asked what "inspires" a song... So I thought it might be cool to share the meaning behind the songs while they're happening. It was inspired by the thought that the world we live IN...may not be the world we are ON.. And vise-versa. Yet, they are always around us as we try to successfully be a part of all of them. To musically portray this...I had the thought to keep one note in common in every single chord through the whole song... And have the harmony "spin" around the single droning tone. It forced me to be really creative with the harmony...and I would NEVER have written it this way had it not been for the "visual" aspect of it. Once I "heard" it this way.. It came together really fast and it's an exciting and unique song for me...You'll hear it soon I hope.

And so it arrives... My Custom McInturff Spitfire!!! A remarkable instrument from the finest guitar builder in the universe...Terry McInturff. I heard this guitar in my head a few years ago...and it's amazing to be holding it!! This is going to be all over the new record!!! You'll be hearing from it soon!
