Hello out there!

A couple people have reached out to this page recently to ask about the status of VARC. My name is Gelsey, and I am a 2019 alum who worked heavily for VARC while on campus. I do not currently know the status of the club, especially with covid-19 playing a large part in campus activities. If any student is interested in reorganizing VARC next semester, I am happy to pass along all the information and resources I gathered and used for the club. It only takes one motivated person to organize people into a powerful collective, but it does take time and dedication. Thank you if you have recently reached out, and if you are a Vassar student currently involved in animal rights or wish to continue VARC, please message me!

Thank you to everyone who has worked with VARC in the past and I hope that animal rights and vegan students can find a place at Vassar to actively participate and create change.

Best wishes,
Gelsey White, '19
