It is with great sorrow to hear of the passing of one of our Love INC family members, Jewel Ratzlaff. Jewel was the driving force to establish Mid-Hudson Love INC sixteen years ago, was instrumental in structuring our Love INC ministry, and had an impact on so many lives of the people she met along the way. She held many leadership positions and stayed very active in Love INC. Jewel helped shape the ministry with excellence, compassion, and love. From a personal perspective, in my Executive Director role, Jewel always made herself available to discuss new ministry ideas and initiatives. She always made the time to help others and was admired by all for her dedication to the Love INC ministry. Using God as our cornerstone and Jewel as the stellar example of a Christian servant, we will continue to work hard to do God’s work in ministering to those in need within our community to build relationships, restore hope, and transform lives.
