Up to date” does NOT mean “Tax-Ready.”

Templates don’t teach understanding.
They teach copying.

And copying only works when:
• Your business is the same
• Your income streams are the same
• Your expenses are structured the same

Which they never are.

Most people don’t panic at tax time because they’re lazy.
They panic because they don’t understand **why** things should be done a certain way in QuickBooks.

So when numbers don’t match:
• They start re-categorizing randomly
• They ignore reconciliation issues
• They hope the tax preparer will “fix it”

Not because it’s strategic.
But because there’s no buy-in to the process.
