Celebrating with our families ~ Dreaming Goddess is closed today.

As we mark 250 years of this nation's story, I find myself reflecting not only on independence, but on interdependence.

The older I get, the more I see that true freedom is not about standing apart. It is about standing together. It is knowing that our well-being is woven with the well-being of our neighbors, our communities, and the Earth herself.

Today I honor the courage of those who dreamed of a better future, while also honoring our responsibility to care for one another and continue that work.

May we remember that we belong to one another. May we choose compassion over division, connection over isolation, and community over fear.

Today we stand at the height of the Sun's power, celebrating the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and a sacred moment of fullness, abundance, and light.

The Earth is lush and vibrant now, offering her gifts in overflowing gardens, wildflowers, birdsong, and warm golden evenings. This is a time to pause and acknowledge all that has grown within us since the returning of the light. What seeds have taken root? What dreams are beginning to blossom?

Litha invites us to celebrate. Light a candle, gather with loved ones, spend time in nature, drum beneath the sky, dance barefoot on the Earth, or simply sit quietly and soak in the beauty of this season.
