Each semester I do this, it somehow works out for that perfectly deserving student to win. I never chose the winner or advocate for anyone. I just post all my contestants online and my friends, family and fans vote for the winner.
The Custom “Space Jam J’s” started from this student’s concept and a pair of special edition Jordan’s I ordered after she had won. It took until the last day of school to deliver, but we made it happen. I ordered the shoes Spring Break after the contest, but the box was Destroyed when they arrived. It looked like it fell out the fed ex truck and got ran over by another truck. So it took a while to deal with the sender and shipping.
But anyways, the concept is based on the Space Jam bunny crush and logo colorways. The student was clever to make bears out of carrots and use complimentary colors that worked perfectly.
