Happy International Goalkeeper Day! LDGA is excited to invite you to 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩! Designed specifically to prepare college goalkeepers for the upcoming fall season. This unique training opportunity will be conducted by US Women National Team and UGA GK coach Rade Tanaskovic () whose experience at the highest levels of the game brings tremendous value to aspiring collegiate goalkeepers. Rade will be assisted by Ron Apollon (.apollon), along with other renowned GK coaches in the Southeast like Dan Pietro () and Jackie De Nova ().

LDGA Team Spotlight: Dan Pietro. Dan Pietro brings experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to player development that continues to elevate LDGA. He currently serves as the Program Director for the Paulding County Boys & Girls Club (BGCMA), where he oversees all program operations and youth development initiatives for the Paulding County Club.

Dan spent nine years as an Assistant Director at LDGA, playing a major role in building and shaping the Elite Program at LDGA camps. His impact extended beyond LDGA as well—he served as Director of Goalkeepers at NASA Tophat Soccer Club and coached within the Boys ECNL and RPL programs. He was also part of the Georgia Olympic Development Program’s goalkeeper coaching staff, helping guide some of the state’s top young talents.

The LDGA team is fortunate to have a coach with Dan’s experience, passion, and dedication continuing to pour into our players and our mission!
