It is helpful to remember that what is important in any businesses life as well as any person’s life is to stay focused on the gift we have been given and to use that time with gratitude and to the best of our ability.

"To be great you must possess a persona of conceit without being conceited."

I read this to mean that greatness leads with confidence, a knowledge that IT (whatever IT is) will be achieved. In fact the persona of conceit comes from knowing that the goal is already met. It just hasn't be manifested into physical form yet. Conceited people have condescending personalities. People having a persona of conceit work with joy, faith and confidence in the outcome.
