Several members in the community asked me if you could please elaborate on whether there is any impact to local taxpayers related to the construction of the new Powhatan Goochland Community Services headquarters under construction across from the Farm Bureau Insurance near the county administration building.

Is the community services board giving up its office space in the village building?

Why does Powhatan County Public Schools pay this organization $40,000 + at a time?

What is the role of Dr. Mike Asip and Steve Hancock? What services does this organization provide to the public school division?

Who is responsible for the cost of the new headquarters for this organization and what impact is that to the taxpayers of Powhatan?

Sandra Kemp, Some of the elderly white residents say be kind - if you don't have something nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all. Some say God is in control - trust him. No one is arguing those statements. We should not turn the other cheek to the blatant racism of Powhatan County Public Schools administration and board's continuation of a pattern of injustice and mistreatment of the community's students, taxpayers and historic resources. We ALL pay taxes. The school board, administration and racist planning commissioners who supported this demolition permit owe the community an explanation. We are expected to pay interest on their racist agenda -- we object to the plan and the interest -- we are entitled to a refund because they have acted without sound basis to even pursue a demolition of historic resource in the first place - much less one that is located on land that is not properly titled or vested. Why have members of the school board and administration committed perjury in federal court according to Ethiopian Epiphany Dr. Lucas? Did you also say that Circuit Court Judge Paul W. Cella lied in regards to your letter and prosecution for unauthorized practice of law, Dr. Lucas? Please explain to the community how he misrepresented the facts in your case. What was the controversy about him being "mistaken" -- have you filed a judicial complaint about him and what is his status on the bench? Did he retire? Why is he still hearing cases? He is inherently biased based on his secondary education at all-white elitist and racist Huguenot Academy. He never should have been appointed to the bench based on his upbringing and indoctrination as an agent of the Byrd/Maxey/Yates massive resistance Jim Crow maching that controlled the courthouses and county governments of places like Powhatan County for decades. They were the racist leaders of the political, social and economic functioning of most of this area for decades. His judgeship is marked by those tendencies and delivers biased and unfair justice for all members of our community. Same with Judge Stark - a prodcut of racist Amelia Academy - and now Judge Teefey has appointed a product of Kenston Forest to be the circuit court clerk of Nottoway County. The current circuit court clerk of Powhatan County is the step daughter in law of William E. Maxey, Jr., a key leader with Elwood F. Yates, Sr. of the Byrd organization and its denial of fair treatment, justice and opportunity for our community. There is no surprise that with R. Lee Ware, Jr. supporting these people today and a solidly GOP voting block in one of the most reliably Republican counties of Virginia that we see the perpetuation of racism and discrimination in our community today in our public schools and county courthouse and government. It defines the leadership of R. Lee Ware, Jr. and is played out in his local Republican office holders and judicial appointments. He has been silent on the fiscal irresponsibility of the blatantly racist destruction of historic Pocahontas - which is nothing more than a money making scheme for the predatory lawyers of Sands Anderson and the associates of the high paid bureaucracy in the public school empire that enjoys the fruits of the taxpayers labor - overseeing the misappropriation of federal special education IDEA funding and the waste, fraud and abuse of the $60,000,000 annual local school budget. Now, the school board is looking to embark on $100 million in borrowing, taxing and spending -- the $10.7 million capital improvements plan that facilities director Tom Sultzer just introduced at the recent school board meeting is the tip of the ice berg in a reckless and disgusting plan for the school administration to enrich its friends and associates through roofing, HVAC (Trane - James River Heating and Air) lighting, land purchase that we do not need, and the straw that broke the camel's back -- the demolition of historic Pocahontas. There is a special place in hell for these evil, racist people. Why did Pietech and the Curtis family give Brad Nunnally Powhatan Sheriff $5,000 and the county schools that already have $60 million of our money a year -- why did that family give a public school division hundreds of thousands of dollars -- what is the connection with the investments and the businesses that transact services with Powhatan County? Why did Hugh Joyce give the PAC tens of thousands of dollars that funnels it to candidates? What is the connection with Watkins and Donati? What role does Hourgan construction play behind the scenes -- is that the company that is putting the data center in eastern Powhatan? Is that the company that just renovated Monticello Dairy in Charlottesville - what is the connection with Judge Cella -- any? His grandmother owned Monticello Dairy -- what is his connection with Angie Miles, Brad King and two special prosecutors from Albemarle? Why Albemarle - who appointed the prosecutor for Tom Sultzer's abuse of Alex Halvorsen according to Kathy and for Dr. Lucas' judicial lynching in our court? Why is Cerullo giving money to Robert Powers Supervisor District 3? Why is Albemarle Special Prosecutor Hingeley giving money to Shannon Taylor? What is her connection with Cerullo? Why the behind the scenes deals to keep the money flowing to Sands Anderson law firm, James River Heating and Air (why did Eric Jones, Jason Tibbs and Tom Sulzer advertise for Trane from our public schools?) -- why did non-lawyer Benway try to be a lawyer on June 24 -- why did he misrepresent the bids to Vicki Hurt for School Board? Did he answer her legal questions adequately on June 24?
