Hello everyone,

There have been several false allegations concerning myself, my preschool JOY Early Learning Center and my coffee shop A Cup of Joy Eatery & Play Yard being posted on social media. I do not professionally or personally feel the need to share intimate details about my employees, my businesses, or other individuals. I do not feel the need to relay through disrespect, defamation, or silence. I would like to place the situation into context. I have built two successful businesses from the ground up in communities I am ingrained in and call home. I provide services to families I sincerely care for and uphold the highest standards. At both my facilities, I offer safe, engaging environments for children to learn, play, and grow. Every parent, child, and family that interacts with my businesses and myself is welcomed with open arms. We can be trusted to be an integral part of your child’s life through happy and difficult times. We are here to support and uplift one another. I love what I do and I hire staff who exhibit the same passion. I will continue to serve my Joy families and my community even when faced with trials and tribulations. If there are any comments, questions, or concerns about myself, my businesses, or my employees, I appreciate you directing them to myself. I will be honest and open but will be addressing concerns in a private manner. I appreciate all the love and support from our Joy families. You mean the world to us.
