HUSD Transportation
"To provide a comprehensive, world-class education for all students"
02/02/2026
For the week of February 2–6, our Transportation Department will be taking attendance during after-school bus drop-offs only. This temporary process will help us collect accurate data so we can improve routing efficiency and better utilize our transportation resources. You may notice no change in your child’s drop-off time, or there may be a slight delay. To minimize any disruption, our bus drivers and students have been practicing procedures such as stating first and last names during drop-off. We appreciate your patience and support during this one-week effort as we work to maximize our fleet, responsibly use taxpayer dollars, and—most importantly—continue to prioritize student safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
Humboldt Unified School District

ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS:
There is snow impacting some of our bus routes. For the safety of our students the following bus routes have been modified beginning tomorrow February 25th. We will remain on this modified route this week until the snow clears.
Due to road conditions and the safety for students our buses may be running late. With many of the roads being narrow and one lane please watch for buses going through neighborhoods and children at bus stops. Please have students be cautious when walking to school and bus stops. Any stops that have been moved will be on the same pick-up time as the original stop.
Please keep up to date on our page and websites for any changes regarding the bus routes. Thank you for your patience throughout this latest storm.
