Subject: Welcome to the High Desert Roughriders Trail Ride & All-Horse Parade!

Dear Riders & Friends,

We’re excited to welcome you to the High Desert Roughriders Trail Ride & All-Horse Parade on Saturday, October 4th, 2025! This special day is all about community, camaraderie, and honoring our veterans — and we’re thrilled to have you with us.

Here’s What’s Happening:

7:00 AM - Staging opens in field next to Peavine Trail North Parking Lot - Horse drop off and take truck and trailer to Mile High Track and Field catch Shuttle back.

7:45 AM - 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM Shuttles will be leaving Mile High Track back to staging - if you miss the shuttle you will have to find a way back to staging.

9:30 AM – Ride Starts promptly at 9:30AM along the beautiful Peavine Trail

10:45 AM - Lunch and horse water at Peavine Trailhead South

1:00 PM – Mounted color guard & National Anthem at the VA Hospital Flag Pole

2:00 PM – Horse water stop and staging for Parade thru downtown

2:30 PM - Parade starts

3:00 PM - Silent Auction, Raffle and Dinner in front of Limoncello

Things to Know Before You Ride:

Check-In: Please arrive early to allow time for check-in and staging.

Horse Readiness: Make sure your horse is trail-ready, properly shod, and conditioned for the ride.

Water: Bring plenty of water for you and a water bucket for your horse — we’ll have watering stops along the way.

Parade Etiquette: Stay in line, keep a safe distance between horses, and follow Roughrider leaders’ instructions - HAVE FUN!

Respect: This is a family-friendly event honoring veterans — please be courteous and mindful of spectators and fellow riders.

Your participation helps us raise funds to support local veterans in need, and together, we make a real difference. If you have any friends or family that would like to help out please have them reach out.
