“Yurt” Hat that’s what I call these hats. When knitting these that is what I think of. First I knit the “walls”. Then I pick up the bottom stitches for the brim. The brim is knitted longer and then folded up and stitched to outside of the hat, making it a double layered brim. The double layer gives extra warmth to your ears, forehead and nape of your neck. Yarn is an alpaca blend. Hand wash, cold water, towel dry, shape and lay flat to air dry. Displayed on small size mannequin head. More information in comments of each photo.
