Taiwan Earthquake Toll Rises, With Many Missing At least six people were killed and dozens are believed to be trapped in buildings damaged by a magnitude-6.4 quake.

As we finish our first full week of classes, we'd like to give a shout out to our Princetonians in Taiwan from this summer! Every summer, many Princeton students visit Taiwan to work, visit family, check out Night Markets, and take the 37.7mph elevator to the top of Taipei 101 (or just take pictures outside of it!)!

"This summer I went to Taiwan to visit family. I stayed in Taipei and enjoyed eating Din Tai Fung, Ice Monster, bubble tea, and stinky tofu. I went to Shilin Night Market for the first time, and had a good time shopping in Ximenting. Despite the fact that I go to Taiwan every summer, the food and community never cease to amaze me.
