Job details
Location: Princeton, NJ
Salary: $ 50,000 - $ 60,000 to start
Visa sponsorship is available for qualified employees
Qualified employees should be willing to relocate
*No experience required but better to have

Responsibilities
• Provides project support to researchers and analysts as they begin to use the SAS data analytics capabilities
• Works with business analysts, development leads, researchers and technical team to analyze business needs and provide guidance on using appropriate SAS tools and SAS coding techniques including statistical methodologies and data manipulation
• Tests and maintains data integrity across multiple databases
• Builds and maintains complex statistical SAS routines using macros, vendor software and software written be self and others
• Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis: participates significantly in interpreting analyses and developing action plans accordingly
• Provides guidance to users in use of SAS clients, including e-Guide and clients associated with the products installed on the platform
• Works with users to understand and define project security, data and operational requirements

Requirements
Education, Experience and Skills

• Bachelors/ Master degree in Statistics or related field
• Excellent knowledge of various modules of SAS including but not limited to SAS/STAT, SAS/Graph
• Understanding and experience with SAS/Connect, SAS/Access
• Knowledge of working with various versions of SAS
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and User Requirements methodologies
• Solid understanding of application design and development processes
• General knowledge of project management
• Possesses skills in analytical methods including problem and model formulation, algorithm selection and development of overall solution strategy
• Possesses strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to train and coach less-experienced team members on technical tasks
• Open in receiving constructive criticism and improving from it
• Detail oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills
