Now that the Grinch has been arrested and revealed where all the toys that were stolen were, we cordially invite you to come join us for our Annual Toy Giveaway.

Breaking News out of Progreso Police Department.

This morning Chief Solis received a call from a concerned citizen that The Grinch was walking by the City Park. The Chief and Officer Sanchez went to the area. Officer Sanchez saw The Grinch and a foot chase ensued. The Grinch ran into Progreso High School where school guardians assisted Progreso Officers in apprehending him. As you can see, The Grinch was not happy and was taken into custody.
He was taken to the Progreso Police Department where after hours of interrogation, he finally admitted to where all the toys were.
We want to thank everyone who participated in this community event. We received multiples calls from McAllen to Elsa to Brownsville from people who had spotted The Grinch. Winner of the reward to be announced shortly.

UPDATE.

The Grinch has evaded law enforcement and is still outstanding. We have recovered a bag full of toys that he was carrying. Multiple callers have called in and was last seen by the Progreso Early Child Hood. Last seen walking south on Busienss FM 1015

The Progreso Police Department has been raising funds since 2019 in order to give back to our community. All events and fund raising is done solely by the Progreso Police Department with the help of some of the people of our community.
