Progreso Red Ant Band

Parents we stopped for bathroom break, we are back on the road, we will arrive at the band hall by 10:30 pm!

Hey parents! We arrived at 10:30 am! Students are happy and healthy! We gave them a check in time at 1:30-2:30 to check in with us. At 5 pm we gather out front! We will keep you posted as always.

Parents and students:

Dont forget we leave the band hall for Sea World Tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. The park opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. We want to maximize our time at the park. You all definitely earned this trip!

Also:

1. Bring a change of clothes for after (bus is usually cold)

2. Appropriate attire for the parks

3. Extra money for souveniors

4. Bring a great attitude and make memories

5. Always stay in groups of 4!

6. Any issues make sure to speak with Seaworld staff or us. We will have a google number available tomorrow morning.

7. Be respectful and kind to each other, other patrons of the park, Seaworld staff, bus drivers, and your adult directors.

8. Remember we represent this great community!

Students:

Tomorrow is your last day! Make sure to clean out your band locker, have an instrument for the summer, or turn in an instrument if you are a senior.

Don't forget:

1. State Solo and Ensemble, we leave May 24th at noon for Austin (weather permitting)

2. Seaworld trip is still on May 27th, we leave at 5:30 a.m.- you cannot go if you have not turned in a permission slip

3. Band parents, I will have information on our first meeting soon. We have a list of needs for this bigger program.

4. July 23rd, we start with section leaders (we will announce soon)

5. July 27th, we start at 3 p.m. in the band hall, and practice will end at 10 p.m.

6. Please take care of your bodies and nutrition this summer.

7. We are expecting around 60-70 of you to return with many young new marchers. We expect nothing but your best as our quest for 5 straight Division Ones begin. I promise you always: Show up on time, do the work, and the results will follow.
