This week at the The American Institute of Architects Annual Conference in San Diego, DC Public Schools Benjamin Banneker Academic High School earned the AIA COTE® Top Ten Award, an international honor recognizing projects that unite exemplary performance with compelling design excellence. As the District of Columbia's first high school operating at 19.8 EUI, Banneker delivers a learning environment for approximately 800 students while demonstrating what is possible when and design work hand in hand. We are honored to have collaborated with Perkins Eastman on a project that helps set a new standard for school design.
