🦁💗 MADE 2 ROAR | Thanksgiving Heart Check

As we step into Thanksgiving week, here’s the question the Lord whispered to me this morning—one that hit me right between the ribs:

“Can you hold space for someone… and be fully with them in the present moment… without needing them to be different?”

Oof.
That one stung

Because if I’m honest, I don’t always do this. There are people I deeply love—family, friends—who I wish saw themselves differently… talked differently… acted differently… believed differently.

And sometimes my “love” comes with an agenda.

But Jesus…
He modeled something radically different.

He loved people AS THEY WERE

Not as they “should be.”

At the well.
In the tree.
In the dust.

He didn’t shame people into change.
He called out identity.
And hearts were healed.
Lives were transformed.
Captives walked away free.

This Thanksgiving, I’m choosing to do the same.

I’m choosing to set the atmosphere.

A table full of love.
A room full of presence.
A heart full of acceptance.

No agendas.
No expectations.
No judgments.

Just Jesus—
shining through my true, authentic, Spirit-led self.

Because when we show up like Him,
people don’t just eat a meal…
they encounter LOVE that changes everything.
