Our Story
PJ Library is an award-winning Jewish literacy and outreach program for families with children ages 6 months through 8 years. Created and supported by our partner, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the PJ Library reaches out to Jewish families to foster curiosity about their heritage while exploring their Jewish identity. Each participating child receives a free, high-quality Jewish book or CD every month in the mail, representing a wide array of Jewish themes, along with a guide to help families use the selections in their homes.
Enrollment in the program is offered to greater Rhode Island families at no charge. In addition to the monthly mailings, the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island, in conjunction with local partners, presents a variety of educational program opportunities throughout the state.
