You don’t know your own strength- and I hate that you had to find out just how strong you are.

It’s the bitter-sweetness that comes with trauma recovery. It’s realization that you are whole, and powerful, and good, and capable. It’s also the realization that you know these facts about yourself because you had to move through hurt and violation.

It’s ok to have mixed feelings about strength and resiliency. Some days you may feel like it’s your super power, and other days you may resent it. Let those feelings flow, it’s all part of the process.
