We’re named for an immigrant song, about immigrants, sung by immigrants. Our forebears were strangers in this strange land, people said horrible things about them, and many of them didn’t speak the language.

So we see it as imperative to try to make things better for those folks who are coming here now, trying for the same better life our people sought.
